We are delighted to announce that we have recently been accredited with ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 22301:2019 certificates. As it as a recognition of the level of professionalism that we are constantly driven towards, our objective is to build and maintain trust and credibility in our partnerships so that our clients feel confident that they’ve made the right decision in choosing our company to serve them.
What is ISO 27001:2013?
ISO 27001:2013 is a specification set out for information security management systems (ISMS) and was developed to ‘provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving information security management systems’.
Developed to provide for the regulation of information security management within companies, ensuring that data is kept both protected and available; ISO 27001:2013 is the international standard that provides specification for a best-practice ISMS. In particular, the standard requires the examination of an organization’s information security risks, in order to allow for the design and implementation of safeguards to prevent such risks from occurring.
After completing the relevant assessments successfully throughout this process, we have proved proactive responsibility on the part of all members of Odine for the execution of good practices in terms of ISMS, in order to transfer this philosophy and commitment to our customers.
Besides demonstrating our commitment to information security, there are other benefits that motivated us to become ISO 27001 certified, such as increased reliability and security of systems and information, improved customer and business partner confidence, increased business resilience, alignment with customer requirements and improved management processes and integration with corporate risk strategies.
What is ISO 22301:2019?
ISO 22301 is the international standard for Business Continuity Management (BCM). Published by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 22301 is designed to help organizations prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from unexpected and disruptive incidents.
The standard provides a practical framework for setting up and managing an effective business continuity management system. ISO 22301 aims to safeguard an organization from a wide range of potential threats and disruptions. As Odine has been accredited with ISO 22301 certification after completing the assessments successfully, the certification shows our commitment in agility and ability to rapidly overcome operational disruptions to provide continued and effective service to our customers.
Throughout the ISO 22301 certification assessment process we have obtained a better understanding of our organization and engrained the business continuity discipline across our entire organization.
Achieving this certification now means that we have an official testament to something which our clients already know and our portfolio proves: information security and maintaining our reliability are of the utmost importance to us, and we handle and protect sensitive data with great care and confidentiality as we protect our clients and business from the unexpected.
