Müge Tuna
Independent Board Member
Müge Tuna has served as an Independent Board Member at Suwen since 2022 and was re-elected to this position at the Suwen General Assembly meeting on November 29, 2023. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boğaziçi University in 1988, following her graduation from Üsküdar American College in 1984. She furthered her education with an MBA from Boğaziçi University in 1991.
From 1991 to 1996, Müge Tuna worked in various roles within the Treasury Department at Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası, and subsequently served as Investment Banking Manager until 2002. Between 2004 and 2013, she held several positions at Garanti Yatırım Menkul Kıymetler A.Ş., including Manager of Investment Banking and Deputy General Manager of Private Equity and Investment Banking.
Müge Tuna was the Deputy General Manager responsible for the Research Department at Garanti Yatırım from 2013 to 2015, and from 2017 to 2019, she was the General Manager of Emaar Square Mall Turkey.
Since 2019, she has been working as a consultant on Clairfield International projects.
In addition to her role as an Independent Board Member, Müge Tuna has been a member of the TÜYİD Board of Directors since 2010, and currently serves on the TÜYİD High Advisory Council, TÜSİAD Capital Markets Working Group, and has held committee memberships with the Professional Women Network (PWN) since 2016. She is also pursuing doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilgi University.
